A serial killer was once reported to have taken the lives of twenty-three individuals, using two daggers as the murder weapon. Evidence gathered shown that for each murder, the killer was dressed as a medieval executioner. This proved to be troublesome at Halloween, when thousands of people thought it to be a good idea to dress as this enigmatic killer. In one particular city in the northwestern United States, it ended in disaster.
It was the day after when the police arrived at the scene of the crime. What had began as an innocent costume party had gone horribly awry. The doors and windows were locked shut. Blood was everywhere. No guest was left alive, and all happened to be dressed as the killer, even carrying replicas of his daggers. Stapled to the party's first victim was a note that read, "So you all wanted to be me for the evening? I'm flattered. Now you have six hours to figure out whose 'costume' is the real thing, or all of you die. Go ahead. Find me, and kill me. The blood makes it realistic. Tick, tock."
The killer's DNA was only found on the first victim.
